Sabrina completed her Bachelor of applied science in Sport and Exercise science in 2011 and completed her Doctor of Physiotherapy degree at Macquarie University in 2015. She then completed a Yoga teacher training course with the Yoga Alliance International in Alignment (Hatha yoga). Sabrina’s particular interest is in biomechanics and human movement patterns.
Sabrina currently teaches at the NSW College of massage and instructs regular yoga and meditation classes. She incorporates parts of this practice with her physiotherapy sessions with a focus on breathing mechanics. Her passion is treating and solving low back and pelvic pain problems; thoracic and rib cage dysfunctions; neck pain and headaches and knee pain.
Sabrina has presented her research at the Australian physiotherapy Association conference in 2015 on; Yoga-based exercise improves balance and mobility in people aged 60 and over: a systematic review and meta-analysis.
She has worked with a number of sporting clubs in the past including Premier League Football, netball and Australian touch football.
In her spare time you will find Sabrina outdoors, practicing yoga and enjoying music.
